Operations

The Operations Department supports 吃瓜头条 District by maintaining over 421,274 assignable square feet across our campuses, including the Merced Campus, Los Banos Campus, and the Business Resource Center (BRC).聽 In partnership with the campus community, our team provides dependable custodial and grounds services that contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and community members.

Custodial Services

Our Custodial Team is committed to maintaining interior spaces that are clean, sanitary, and ready to support daily campus operations across all District locations.

Services include:

• Cleaning classrooms, offices, laboratories, and common areas
• Restroom cleaning, sanitizing, and supply restocking
• General cleaning (walls, interior glass, drinking fountains)
• Floor care, including hard surface refinishing and carpet extraction
• Trash and recycling collection and removal

Grounds Services

Our Grounds Team maintains and enhances the District鈥檚 outdoor spaces, supporting campus safety, accessibility, and overall appearance, promoting campus pride.

• Landscape maintenance (mowing, trimming, pruning, weed control, and projects)
• Irrigation system maintenance and repair
• Tree care and seasonal planting
• Athletic field preparation and upkeep
• Stormwater management and debris removal
