Official 吃瓜头条 Grad Box
To mark this important milestone, the 吃瓜头条 Alumni Association is offering the Official 吃瓜头条 Grad Box. Created especially for our newest graduates, this limited-edition box is a great way to show Blue Devil pride and commemorate the 吃瓜头条 journey. Inside graduates will find a special edition 吃瓜头条 Alumni T-shirt, a sleek alumni mug, a roomy cotton alumni tote, and a branded alumni keyring, all packaged in a premium keepsake box featuring Blaze the Blue Devil. Graduates can receive their Grad Box with a $79 donation to the 吃瓜头条 Alumni Association, supporting alumni programs and future Blue Devils.
Grad Boxes will be available for pickup Monday – Thursday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM inside the Administration building located at the Merced campus. Supplies are limited.

Alumni Trident Project
If you鈥檇 like to continue making an impact, consider a year-end gift through the Alumni Trident Project. This upcoming campus landmark includes the fabrication of a custom 84-inch-tall (7-foot) metal trident sculpture for 吃瓜头条, designed as a long-term outdoor focal point and enduring symbol of Blue Devil pride. With a substantial 16-inch depth, the trident is planned as a statement piece that will serve as a visual centerpiece on campus鈥攅ngineered to resist sun, wind, rain, and time鈥攕o it can remain a defining fixture for decades to come.
The monument will be finished with one of two durable outdoor paint systems. A Polyurea hardcoat with latex-based paint offers a textured, impact-resistant finish that provides excellent weather protection and a cost-effective option for long-term exposure. An automotive-grade smooth paint system offers a premium, multi-step process with detailed surface preparation, priming, multiple layers of high-quality automotive paint, and clear coat to achieve a smooth satin look suited for a high-visibility installation.
