Education Code 搂 66271.41 allows students and staff to declare an affirmed name and/or gender identification to be used when legal names are not required by law or to meet legally mandated obligation.听 Accounts will be reviewed for appropriateness according to our听.

Excused withdrawals (EW) shall be allowed to students in extenuating circumstances. 鈥淓xtenuating circumstances鈥� means cases of accidents, illnesses, or other circumstances beyond the control of the student.
An Excused Withdrawal shall not be counted in progress probation or dismissal calculations, nor shall it be counted towards the permitted number of withdrawals or counted as an enrollment attempt. The financial aid of a student may be affected depending on individual circumstances. Students are strongly encouraged to contact financial aid, and any special program they belong to prior to submission.

Prerequisite/Corequisite/Limitation on Enrollment
We recommend that students meet with a 吃瓜头条 Counselor to review the prerequisite/corequisite challenge process and ensure they understand the required supporting documentation.

Once submitted, the challenge will be forwarded to the Dean of the discipline for the course in question. Within five (5) instructional days, faculty will make a determination to either approve or deny the petition. If approved the course will be cleared and you will be able to register for the course online.
